    My carpenters star top is FINISHED, I spent the whole day getting the top done. Tomorrow I will get the backing ready along with the binding and take to the LA.

    My motivation was getting an order for 5 pks of charms with matching fabric to make a tumbler quilt. I got my template from Missouri Quilt and have been waiting for the perfect charm packs to go on sale. I was able to get the charms and enough fabric to do the backing/boarder, binding (all Moda) for under $70 inc. the template !!!

    My promise was to not have more than one quilt going at a time.

    Isn't there such a feeling of accomplishment when a quilt is done,almost like birthing a baby but no pain!

    Congrats on finishing. Nothing inspires me more than thinking about the next quilt I will make.
