question about disappearing 9 patch

I've never seen a Hayes Corner block.

I sewed the blocks the way that Eleanor Burns does for a 9 patch.
It is very easy and you get 2 blocks done in the same time it would take to do 1 block and then rotate the squares to make the disappearing 9 patch.

ccbear and Ady!!!! we better get to see photos of these quilts!!! :) This quilt is on my to do list.. I think its number 5,678 on my projects to make list!!! LOL

It does look similar.

I like the colors too!!

I'm making the quilt for me. The rest of my immediate family has quilts that I made for them.

I don't know about all of you, but it seems as though when I make something for me, it seems to take longer. lol
