I just drooled over 117becca's GFG for her aunt and I notice that the flowers have only 2 rings. I always had only seen 3 rings. But since I've seen hers, I notice other quilts with the 2 rings on the flowers. Which is more historically correct? Or is it just a matter of choice of the quilter?

There are many versions and shapes of quilts using that title.

Probably quilter's choice...lots of possibilities!

2 rings is more common to me. The stretched diamond looking ones seem to be more popular in the flea markets around here.

the one my grandmother did has a solid ring, then a print then a white ring and then green. This is how I'm making mine.
