I do a lot of scrappy quilts, I make them from Fat Quarters.
they are called that because you use so many different materials in them.
Also they are made from values. Darks, Mediums, And Lights.

Okay I'm new at all the kinds of quilts so this may seem like a dumb question but what is the difference between a scrappy and a crazy quilt?

Scrappy can be planned or totally random, like putting the fabrics in a bag and using each one that is blindly pulled out next... I think it depends on what you are comfortable doing, the pattern, and what you have to work with.
