Not sure what your sister's friend might like, but the maple leaf block is a quick and easy one to make, or maybe something that has to with the outdoors. What part of Canada is she from, that might give you some insight.

Well from the info she gave me, she and my BIL met a Canadian hockey player ( my sis loves hockey) well they got to be good friends so they sorta 'adopted' him while he was going to be in Texas. I have three months to come up with something but I have no idea..

Well of course, HOCKEY! We live hockey, skiing, skating, snow boarding and curling all winter . Maybe find out which team he is for as there are lots of hockey team fabrics. Be sure and show us what you make.

I know what you mean. I posted recently about there being a lot of Americana stuff, but not Canadian stuff. There is one hanging called "O Canada" you could google, but even this great helpful board was not able to come up with others. Sorry and good luck!

I WOULD GO WITH RED AND WHITE MAPLE LEAF.
THIS SYMBOLIZES US CANADIANS, LIKE THE RED WHITE AND BLUE SYMBOLIZES AMERICANS
