Default Vintage Cutting Mat Help

I have a question for everyone. I have a vintage cutting mat made by Uni-Unique Products. It measures 36x68, there is nothing wrong with it. The only problem I have is I don't have a table that big to hold it. Could anyone tell me what they think this would go for. I am going to put it on Craigslist. I sure would appreciate everyone input on this.

Thank you
Verna

I have a cutting mat approximately that size - but also have a table. It is a great surface and I don't know how I would do without it. My suggestion is to go to Home Depot type store and have them cut you a piece of plywood about an inch or so larger on all sides and place it atop your regular table. When you cut, be sure to cut within the scope of your regular table, otherwise it would tip. A large surface is great for laying out garments/quilts patterens and for spreading out your fabrics for auditioning. I do not think you will get much for the old cutting mat (remember packing & shipping), and I think you will do better keeping it. It can be stored (along with the plywood), upright in some area - you will in the long run be happy you kept it.

I guess the answer would depend partly on whether it's self healing or not. JoAnn's lists a 35x70 cutting mat for $200, but remember they have 1/2 price sales and it's an Olfa mat. You might check with a quilt store. They often use large mats in the store and might be willing to buy it. They might even trade you for fabric!
