Question Bias tape question

I want to make some round potholders and my question is: I will be using 2 pieces or batting and one piece of
flannel for the inside. I don't know what size or width of bias tape to use. I always make my binding 2" wide when
I male quilts. Should I use double wide or single wide to get my width for the binding??? I hope I am making sense. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
eunice

Are you talking about pre-packaged bias tape? Double Fold extra wide is what I use. I think it is easier, faster, long run cheaper than measuring, cutting, folding pressing my own. Just MHO.

Here is the tutorial I use for potholders. Although yours are round, you may like the partabout binding.
