I have had this four block piece for ages. It was a class I taught on fabric folding for quilts. I think the book was called, Fabric folding, I can't remember and am too tired to go look lol.

Anyway. you folded four flowers for each block. I made four blocks and put a order around it for an example for the students.

I never wanted to do anything with it tho. It was too small for a wall hanging and too big for a pillow, so I just kept it.

Yesterday, one of my dolling friends showed me her fairy pillow and I immediately knew where I could get one lol.

I ripped the four blocks apart at the sashings and had four blocks for four pillows. I made one pillow.

I sewed beads where the tips of the flowers were sewed down and sewed glass hearts where the tip of the flower hit the edge of the pillow. I worked on it all afternoon, for hours but nice hours while watching Netflix lol

I don't take good pic, it must be the camera. The pics are not clear.

Those are beautiful. What a wonderful way to use the blocks. Great idea.

Thank you ladies. Here is a better pic so you can see the beading more clearly. I took it outside and click some maco buttons and what else lol.

I could just kick myself now. I went looking for that book as I love how this pillow came out and it looks like I donated it to the library. I had decided that I was never going to make a quilt out of this book but look what could be done, oh well.....
