My DD and SIL bought a new coffe table and want something to protect the glass, so I machine embroidered their initials on an oval piece of fabric. It will be about 15 X 30 inches. The initials are in the middle. How should I quilt it? A grid seems boring. She's not crazy about meandering. Help - thanks!!

How about making 1/4" seam around the initials? What are the initials? This would make the initials stand out. What are their likes and interests?

    What about a curving grid?

Perhaps show us a picture ... much easier to come up with ideas!

perhaps a Baptist Fan design, lots of curves radiating outward.
