Default quilt book on kindle

For those of you who have a quilt book on Kindle, how do you get a block pattern to the printer?

I know with my Nook I downloaded a Nook App onto my computer so that I could read any book that's on my Nook on my computer as well. If I want to print anything, I bring it up on my computer and print from there. I don't know if it works the same with the Kindle, but it would be worth looking into. Plus, reading patterns, looking at quilts, etc is MUCH easier on the computer than on the smaller e-book screen.

good question- hubby bought me two quilt books on his kindle---i can look at it and read the instructions---but i can not do anything else with it- and one of them is templates---so far a bit of a waste of money- i told him to hold off buying it but he wanted to (be sweet) & did it anyway---i feel that i still have to go buy the books.

I downloaded a quilt book with my Kindle app on iPad and I was disappointed that I couldn't print out any of the templates. I won't be so impatient next time.

I was thinking of getting a kindle so hope there is an answer to this. I would think you could just plug it into your computer and download like you do pictures from camera to PC. At least thats what the salesman told me about pictures.

Until I find out how to get something printed off of a kindle I'm not buying a quilting book for it yet. I'll keep to the old printing press until then.

Maybe the answer is to download the book on your computer first and then move to iPad and then back to computer for printing.
