I like the third design. I think it would be beautiful in a matching thread. Your pinwheels look great!

I like the flowing quality of 2 and 3, but think they need to be simplified so the pinwheels are the star.

All three are great! If I had to choose, I'd choose the third pic, as it looks like some wind for the pinwheels. Very cute quilt!

I think if you did the third design in a thread that matches the background, it would blend in and become a texture that simulates a wind interacting with the pinwheels. I don't think it would distract from the pinwheels at all.

I also like the third design, done with thread matching the background. Would add a subtle texture and not detract from those pretty pinwheels.

Of the three, I like the third one best also, but truthfully, I like the pebbles shown by Sandy1.

I agree with those that commented on #3 and, that in a matching thread color, would blend in and give a whispy wind effect. Don’t forget to post a photo of your finished quilting. : )

Cute quilt and love the 3D pinwheels. I kinda like the quilting design you have drawn on #3.

I do like #1, but #3 is the wind spinning the pinwheels. It's a beautiful quilt. Please post pictures when it is complete.
