Oh my gosh I think that is really pretty don't know what it's called but I'd call it a wedding ring love....with those hearts sets it off great...I made a quilt that I did a mistake on didn't catch it till I had the blocks done,,,well the quilting gals I quilted with never even noticed till I pointed it out...and when I did they said they thought it was made that way cause it was on all the blocks...so thats my two cents and I'm sticking to it!!

Have you ever worked with the gridded fusible interfacing or stabilizer. I just bought some at Walmart with 2 1/2 in grids. you cut your fabric into squares the size of the grid square and you can make a landscape or water color quilt. The flannel might make a nice outdoor/ woodsy scene.

I'm calling it "My Heart's Home" since that was part of their wedding vows, and the hearts point towards the center. You are all so encouraging, I think I'll plug along and start two more blocks. If I get 6 more done, I could put 4 of them together (4 sets of 4) and do sashing between them. Thinking about trying some small paper-pieced butterflies in the sashing if I can use some of the pre-cut fabric in the butterflies...or something...

I'm no expert.....but I love the pattern and colors. If it was my quilt, I'd put some sashing between the blocks. I think it will be stunning when you get it done. We're always waaaaay to criticial of our own work.

:( so sorry it happened to you....
I would sit and cry for a while.....
Then make another quilt
Then go back to the first one and think about some diffrent project...may be some bag? some aplique???...something will come out of it...just let it rest and (cook) for a while...
