Are these designs in your machine format? You would have to add each letter as a design. Then select each letter and add one at a time.

Typically, you want them on the usb single and not in a folder on the usb.

The other option would be to use software. Make the label, save it in the machine format, and then send to the usb.

I love making labels. I stitch two sides into the lower corner. There are only two sides to hand stitch.

To fabricgalore...I googled "embroidery design format for Janome 15000" and there is all kinds of info re the Janome 15000 and transferring designs, format, etc. You may need to reformat the fonts to .jef+. There are several free programs for this (as well as including other editing capabilities), and one that I use is the free MY EDITOR by Wings. Just goodle and D/L for free. Some have had difficulty understanding the program, but once you do, you can do a lot with it. I'd be happy to give you a kick start.

I have been embroidering the information on the back of the binding. I put the name of the quilt, the recipient, date, my name and year it was made. It usually takes about 6 to 8 inches. I use thread to match the binding, so it does not stand out like a sore thumb. On the front side I only put the name of the quilt. (I usually make 2 sided quilts)

I write my name and date on the inside binding with a pigma pen.

I use my embroidery machine to make my labels. I usually add the recipent(s) name up top, possibly a short bible verse, the year and my shortened name at the bottom. My labels are triangle. I start out with a square piece of fabric and fold it to make it triangle shaped after embroidery so it will get stitched down at the corner when I go to stitch the binding on. That leave only one edge I have to tack down by hand.

I bought my fonts from Designs by JuJu in the JEF format and they had a free program Embrilliance to use for printing the design but they only allowed one line of print. I had to upload the fonts in the BX mode and then Embrilliance saved them in the PES format. I installed the Horizon Link Suite on my computer but there are no directions on how to use it and I got frustrated after spending 3 hours trying to figure out how it worked. I went to You Tube and their version of Horizon Link didn't match the version I had so it was useless. There has to be an easier way to do this. Thanks for the information about MY EDITOR.

I just bought some cute Lori Holt fabric labels on Etsy. I'm not very artistic so these will do nicely for me.
