It is called Xanadu. From keepsake quilting, volume 26, page 9. I have been staring at it for a while. Want to make it too!! Ann
But after staring at the one in the catalogue, It looks like either half blocks or all little squares. This one doesn't show any seams in the large squares.

It's definitely NOT a QIAD pattern!! I agree, it must have been hand pieced because one would go crazy doing all those partial seams !! YIKES !!! THANKS for sharing this puzzle with all of us......

go here and you can see the seams of the nine patch blocks. You would need a design board to make this.
