    Hi and Happy New Year! I am the program person for my quilt guild and some fo the members are wondering what can they do fun and different with al thier wonderful 5" squares.

    They make awesome pinwheel blocks. I used some of the pinwheel blocks for potholders to give as christmas presents.

    There are some really neat patterns for making tote bags or reusable grocery sacs using nickel squares. And, if you have a lot of the squares to use you'll find some great patterns in the Pat Speth Nickel Quilts books.

    Maybe use it as a guild challenge? Prizes for the most creative, most colorful, most elaborate... Keep the project size itself small, doll quilt or tote bag or smaller :wink:

    Last year, I took a pack of charm squares and made several D9P table runners. Each one looked different :D
