Does anyone know where the best place to purchase a standing quilt rack. I want to put the quilt that I made on a rack that would stand at the foot of our bed. I have seen many hanging type. Thanks for your help

Sorry haven't a clue, my son-in-laws father built me 2 of them and they are great. You might try one of your quilt shops they may know too. Good Luck

Actually I was just doing some online shopping at JC Penney's website and they have a beautiful wooden one that was regularly $119 as an online only special for $49.

The gentlemen at our local Senior Center have a woodworking shop. They make quilt racks and other beautiful wooden pieces. I know they sell them but I don't know for how much. You might check with them and also if your local high schools or voc tech schools still have a wood shop. If we want American made things we need to encourage the makers.

Thanks for the info. Just heard from a cousin that Slumberland has a sale on theirs tomorrow, black friday. I might go in later in the day to see if they have one left but I am not going to fight the crowds early in the am. Getting to old for that and plus the weather is so cold.
