Default Quilt shops on the Southern Maine Coast

There is a possibility that hubby and I may be taking a long over-due trip next week or the one after. The circumstances allowing us to do so are sad. My dog Stitches (see Avatar), is having some probably insurmountable health issues and we have to make a final decision probably this week. He has lived a long, wonderful happy life with us and would be 18 years old October 1st. I have already cried a river, but feel I'm finally at peace with what has to happen sooner than later. I have taken care of him with my entire heart and soul and have no regrets. No stone has been left unturned.

Anyhow, we haven't been able to return to Maine in almost three years. I have been to Knights Quilt Shop which is a great place. Also have been told about a shop in Freeport, believe it's called Cotton Weeds? Seeds? Remember reading on here about Marden's having fabrics, but a certain couple of the stores, more so than the others. Any suggestions? Is the quality of the fabric similar to that found in Joann's, Hobby Lobby?

Any tips, suggestions. Us quilters can't live on long, romantic beach walks, outlet shopping and lobsters alone. We must see and fondle the almighty fabric.

As always, thanks for your input.

Kathie's in Sanford was featured in Quilt Sampler, high praise for any shop. Marden's is also in Sanford.

Mardens in Sanford has good quality fabric. Last time I was there they were expanding their fabric dept.
It is mostly name brand but past seasons.
There is a large shop in Portsmouth NH which would not be far.
A Google search for Quilt Shops n Main should give you plenty of info.

There is also Knight's Quilt Shop which is on route one just a bit inland along the southern coast.
