I just finished my first wall hanging. I put a sleeve on the back attatched when I put on the binding. The only thing is that now that it is up you can see the sleeve appearing over the top of the quilt. Don't know how well you can see it in the picture but it's border, binding sleeve across the top. What did I do wrong?

You could try laying the sleeve flat and stitching it along the bottom to the back of the quilt...that's how I do mine and it is hidden then. :)

Beautiful colors, you did an awesome job! :)

It is stunning! Try stitching your bottom edge of the sleeve to the back of the quilt. See if that doesn't help.
Good job!

Thank you for the compliments! My boyfriend saw it and was ready to take it home, till I told him it was for me!

I guess I should have been able to figure that one out for myself if I had thought about it a bit more. It's just when you are new to something you are afraid to do something wrong when you spend so much time putting it together.

Stitching the bottom edge of the sleeve to the quilt back will be an easy solution to a beautiful wall quilt that must be hung for all the world to see!

The pattern is called "magic tiles". I'll have to go find it to find out who it's by, but it is much easier than it looks. I was glad I took the class because reading the instructions is very confusing. Once you have done it it makes complete sense.
