I just wonder if the quilt hasn't been misplaced rather than 'stolen'. I can't imagine that someone would steal a quilt.

Oh, how sad, it is a lovely quilt. I do hope it is found.

This makes me sick.

However....I stole a quilt one time (and I still have it).....from my mother! It was a ratty "old" quilt that she probably picked up at an auction or some thing. She was using it to put in the bottom of a wagon to set pumpkins on, and then once she got to the car she used it to lift the pumpkins into my car, well it never made it back to her. I guess Karma is a hag though because she had this auction quilt that I just LOVED it was a shades of pink to white lonestar quilt. It stayed at her house for when I would come over and nap. Well she took it to the laundromat that she worked in to wash it and someone stole it out of the washer before it was even done! I hope whoever stole it loves it as much as I did!

I read that yesterday. Someone is going to bring kharmageddon down on themselves for that. While we were in a booth Friday the vendor realized someone had stolen a complete quilt kit. The vendor was so sad and said if they had only asked she probably would've just given it to them. I felt so bad for her.
