used as cover i feel it needs at least a 10" drop, otherwise when you get under it, its not going to cover very well, it will be drafty

Here is the info I have:
Mattress Batting
Crib 27x52 45x60
Twin 39x75 70x90
Full 54x75 81x96
Queen 60x80 90x108
King 76x80 120x120

Is this what you are looking for?

Well, I had these in columns but they took out all the spacing. First measurements are the size of the mattress top and the second is the batting size for the entire quilt including drop on each side and the ends.

Don't forget (like I did once!) to allow for the take up that happens when you quilt it.:)

I am not sure what you mean? You can make them to just the edges of a bed, with a drop to cover the sides of the mattress, or down to the floor, or anything inbetween LOL. The choice is a personal preference. You will get different answers due to different preferences :D:D:D
