also www.quiltville.com has free patterns, some quilt as you go I think. and a book called Quilting in Sections is good and one called Reversible Quilts too. so many out there. try your library too.

Do you have a link to teach how the binding technique you used is demonstrated?

Great idea! I like the idea of using the batting square in place of foundation paper. Great for log cabins and string quilts
If you put a backing square at the back, you will have a reversible quilt!
The sashing part is a little troublesome though.
I will try this one day when I have enough mental strength of handle my scraps.
(Edited to add: Oh yes, saw the youtube tutorial on joining blocks without sashing. Cool!)

Get Cotton Theory book. Also watched a video on one of the sew channels this weekend on this topic and the gal that wrote the books on Cotton Theory was showing how it is done. I think I was on SewOnTV.com channel which I got from this list regarding online sewing shows.
