Does anyone use regular batting for Bow Tuck Purses? I have a lot of batting and hate to buy more of the fusible fleece. I also have a roll of stitch wichery (about 30 years old) and I thought about fusing the batting to the fabric with it.

I used regular batting and spray basted it to the fabric. It will work fine if you plan on quilting it before putting all the pieces together.

I use scraps of batting that I have too. Just spray with basting spray and off I go!

I use whatever I have and just pin it. By the time I quilt if up I don't even miss the fusible part.
