When I open my e-mail each morning and see my message from the Quilting Board, it is like receiving messages from several of my friends at one time - kind of like being on a Party Line with friends.

I love the great posts of information and encouragement each of you give each other!

    Thank you friends.

This is what I am talking about! A sweet response when I begin to think my post was corny.

Indeed, I feel so blessed from the help and offers others have asked what I have and have not been able to fulfil , I don't have any close friends here in NY, my time is taken with the needs and care of my Bunnie so this board is a life savior for me
Thank you all and Bless each and everyone.

I agree with all the above. Great place to start the day and then I should get on with my life but sometimes the time just gets away from me. I don't have many friends in the area and I'm not really one to get out to do lots of things. This is truly a wonderful outlet! Love looking at all the beautiful things everyone has created!

Judith1005 party line comment reminded me of when we had party lines on our phones and everyone had a distinctive ring. Many a time the neighbors would all get on to chat.

I am still fairly new here, yet I feel right at home. Very welcoming and warm. I don't feel stupid asking questions (no matter how silly I might think they are) and I am not embarrassed to show anything I am working on, or share my newest finds!

It's a wonderful place to come to discuss about anything. I live in a small valley. Moved here 4 yrs ago. No close friends. I come here in the morning, and then do what needs to be done around the house and spend afternoon's doing some quilting.
Thanks to all here for such a great place

Today I called it "pen pals" while telling someone about the Board, but Party Line is a much better description!

I couldn't agree more with all of you. Just like now...here I am an hour later...3rd cup of coffee and still in pjs and robe. I promised myself I would spend the day working on my Christmas wallhanging because I have nothing pressing to do today. But I have a good excuse to be lazy right now...it's dreary and raining here today.

I have found such great information here on internet fabric sites, the fact that I want to buy a new machine next spring so enjoy reading all the pros and cons, plus finding out that even some of the pros run into a problem once in a while. Oh...and the quilting and sewing supplies that are mentioned...just like the JT Shape Cut Plus. I NEED one of those.

So I appreciate the caring and sharing of everyone here. Some day I hope maybe I will be able to help someone who is new to all of this.
