Default finishing my first flannel quilt

I just finishing my first flannel quilt and not sure what to use for a filling or backing. Don't want to make it heavier (its 50 x 50) but want to be be cuddly for the winter evening in Wisconsin. Any suggestions?

I think I'd use a poly batting, it's lighter and would give a little fluff and I'd also use flannel for the backing.

If you want light weight and warm .. poly batting is the way to go! Look for a low loft , bonded poly batting. Some of the better poly battings have what looks like a layer oflight weight interfacing on the top and bottom.
