Thanks for all the suggestions and if you think of any more keep the ideas coming. I've already begun sharing them with other guild members.

Wallets and checkbook covers. I've seen free patterns online somewhere.

Pet blankets for cat or dog (to lie on, not under). I've made a cat one about 18"x15."

I used cat fabrics, my friend used dog fabric, paw prints as I remember with a border of partying dogs. Hers was a bit larger than mine.
I don't know about dog lovers; but, we cat people will go to extraordinary lengths and buy anything for our pet's comfort.

I made a set of place mats with a matching center piece and several table runners - all out of christmas fabric. They went immediately. They are easy to make and you can probably use up some of your scraps too. Good Luck. Diane

I make coasters that seem to sell pretty good.

Our last quilt show the three best selling items were: aprons(the long lacy ones sold best), fish pin cushions, and quilted cup holders(like the kind you get at starbucks made out of cardboard) used velcro to hold them closed. Also use the starbucks cardboard as a pattern, these sold out in the first day and people were coming back to see if we had any more.
