All I can say is, "I'm in LOVE". I wish I'd discovered it sooner. Anybody else love theirs?

My 1/4" foot is not my favourite.
But my walking foot sure is. Once I discovered that I can move my needle position to the left or right in tiny increments, I figured out where exactly on the foot to use as a reference and where exactly to set the needle for the perfect "scant 1/4 inch." Sure makes a difference!

I hope the new machine I got at the auction has one. There were about 15 feet with it. Too busy and will soon be heading south so will not get to play with it until the spring. I am taking my old machine with me since I know what it does.

I love my 1/4" feet (one is bladed and one isn't) and really like the fact that they work with the IDT which is like a built in walking foot for my Pfaff.

These are the best inventions. If you ever use a Kwik Sew pattern they are also great since most are 1/4" seam allowance.

I love mine. I had the little foot and it was great too but when I got my first Janome about 11 yrs ago I bought a regular patchwork foot and it was SO nice to have the snap on type. Now, though, I have the Janome clearview 1/4" foot and like it so much better.

I love mine too. I sew a lot of small pieces and once I started sewing with the 1/4" foot my accuracy has greatly improved. Don't sew without it now.

What is a 1/4" foot? It sounds like a nice attachment to have.
