I'd go with the flow and use them the way they are. It becomes an original pattern!

as far along as you are, just call it your original variation of the design.

I say there are no quilt police, do what makes you happy and you are the only one who knows it was a mistake and not intentional, or was it?! Hmmmmm..........

As others have said - a photo would be helpful -

If it looks "right" to you - regardless of what the pattern suggested - leave it

If it looks "wrong" to you - it's easier to fix/change it now, than later. If it looks "wrong" now - it probably won't look "right" ten years from now.

If you don't mind how it looks leave it. You can always do the rest to match the first set.

I just spent hours last night ripping out four blocks I had put in upside down. I let the quilt sit for several days while I thought about it and decided I wouldn't be happy with it if I let it stay like that. I wonder why I am so obsessed with something that causes me so much frustration! Sometimes I think I am too stupid to quilt.

Just finished a Take Five also. Like someone else mentioned there are so many ways to put them together I don't think it will matter & it's your quilt so be creative & make it truly your creation!

Leave them. Take Five is so random that it won't matter. If you are following the directions, their layout is just ONE you can use. You can make up your own and it will be fine!

nannyquilts, who says it is wrong? Is it really wrong or just different from what you saw in a book? Do you like it? If so just leave it and go on, if you think it has to be like the pattern then take it out and start over, but if you did 12 the "wrong" way you must have liked the way it looked or you would have noticed on the 2nd or 3rd one.
