Great question, something I had often thought about. Right now I get McCalls and the American Quilters Society, but have wondered about some of the others.

I don't subscribe to any quilting magazines but find them at garage sales, thrift stores and used book stores. Way cheaper and the patterns and tips don't really go out of date.

I don't subsrcibe to any, I look at them at the library or the store, then pick up the ones I like. I like the Quilter and Quilt as well as American patchwork and quilting and McCall's. Since I work at one of the local libraries, I usually get to see them as soon as they come, and I look at them on my breaks.

I have subscribed to many over the years, but keep my subscription going to McCalls Quilting and Quiltmaker.

Quilters Newsletter is my very favorite of all my magazines. I look forward to every edition (and they have more editions than most others) and I read it cover to cover.

I am letting all of my subscriptions run out. When I get to the book store, I take a quick look at what is on the shelf and if anything grabs my attention, I pick it up. Otherwise, too much money - too much paper - too many repeats, and not enough space to store it all.

I get Quilt, Quilter's World, Fons & Porter, Quiltmaker, and Quilter's Newsletter, oh, and American Patchwork. My favorites are Quiltmaker and American Patchwork because of the wide variety of patterns in them. I work and don't have much time to search the internet for patterns...I'd rather be quilting!!! :-)

I totally agree. But I'm tired of reading hunting magazines in the bathroom.... :)
Oh my, I thought I was the only one who has hunting magazines in the bathroom!

I'm thinking eating more fiber to shorten bathroom stays and download free patterns off the internet, LOL!
