A set of pigma pens will last her for years and perfect for writing a quilt label. A pencil sharpener with the jumbo slot for thick pencils, it will sharpen the box of colored chalk sticks (.98) to a find point. Big paper clips. The new ones are very pretty!

People, people, people - the house is quiet, many projects wait for me, but here I sit reading all of the tips on those links!

I'm adding ... clothespins, lint roller, Q tips, a can of spray starch (cause we joke about how much we use), a small tube - may have to eat some mini M&M's, but anything for a friend - to hold filled bobbins. I've also printed off several pages from the links to include in the box. Perhaps some different size baggies - I recently separated my different works in progress into large baggies and I can easily grab the one I want to work on.

This will be so fun to give her!

How about a school glue stick? I am going to try one soon. Some say you can glue instead of pin for certain jobs.

Why about pedicure toe-separaters to store bobbins? Maybe you could spring for a replacement rotary cutter blade. Or maybe a skewer stilleto, door stops to tilt the machine forward .. there are TONS of "household items" that can be used for notions and organizers.
