My friend and I are contemplating buying a small trailer in which we could always leave one of everything for easy travel. Less time preparing for the trip, and enjoying more minutes.

CraftyBear
Thanks so much for the list. My sister is trying to talk me into going to a retreat next month. If I decide to go, this will be a tremendous help! I appreciate the time you take to help all of us out.

I ALWAYS take my own sewing chair to retreats. So much more comfortable than the folding chairs provided. And a massage pad for the back of the chair is a good idea too.

Your list really made me smile. Last year a friend and I set off for our annual quilt retreat (car loaded of course). We broke down and a local garage collected us and offered to take us and our packing to the college . We filled a small van with all our luggage!!

Skothing, my DH and I were stayed Wooster, Ohio the second week of Oct. Visited Lehman's Store in Kidron, Ohio and did some Christmas shopping. Also visited many quilt shops including Zinck's in Berlin. Bought fabric, not as much a previous years. Their selection was not that great. They had plenty of poly/cotton fabric-not impressed. Have you ever shopped at Troyer's. Able to buy bulk food (flour, sugar etc) very cheep. Even bought their bacon and weiner's. Fill you cooler with ice and do not open until you get home. Had a fun vacation. Already planning next y ear.
