I don't know the answer to that question either. But I love that pattern! I can't wait to see yours when you are done.

I am making a valentine quilt exactly as fatquarter mentioned. I find it very easy as I am a beginner at this (my first FMQ quilt!) and a lot of fun. I like this method of quilt as you go and FMQ.

Georgia Bonesteel uses a quilt in sections and Betty Cotton aka Cotton Theory also quilts then assembles. Google them and maybe one of those ideas will be what you can do. But do your applique first.

Where could I find that pattern? I would love to make one? Who makes it?

I do most of my quilts "quilt as you go." I did a bargello in long strips and it worked great. I'm doing a stained glass quilt now. It makes it so much easier to put the narrow black strips on. Go for it.
