Need Advice/help with quilt label on Embroidery machine
Hi I have just finished a quilt for my MIL 75th birthday, I have a janome 350e with customiser(bought used but I have only used it a couple of times myself but not the software) and I am trying to make a simple label for the quilt.
I tried using the machine font but it was way too big, so I tried to use the software and I place about 6 lines of short text and the machine says it will take an hour to do. What am I doing wrong? I am sure a few lines of text shouldnt take so long to do
I would love if someone could help soon as I will be giving her the quilt tomorrow whether or not it has a label. Many thanks for any advice

I know you don't have time probably to read through this thread but I found it when searching for info here. Sure hope someone with an embroidery machine can give you some pointers. Did you check out the janome site as well?

There are also small alphabets that are digitized for quilt labels:

BTW, why are you concerned about an embroidery taking 1 hour? I've done some that take at least twice that. If you are happy with the way it looks in the software, I would at least start it. You can always stop and discard if it's not going well. Also look at see if there is a stop between each letter. Some software will think you want to change threads after each letter.
