Ha! Went to Lowes today and found the plexi-glass isle, then I asked the lady to if she could cut me a 6 1/2 X 6 1/2 inch, 8 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch and a 10 1/2 X 10 1/2 inch square....sure enough she did! All three of these acrylic squares for 16.00 dollars! I feel like I hit the lottery!

That's great! I knew Lowe's would do that for you when you bought wood - didn't even know they had a plexiglas aisle! :)

Hmmm...but without accurate, permanent markings on them they'd be very limited in use.

One nice way I can think of is for Fussy Cuts. You could find what pattern you wanted in the middle of a block, use a marker to outline it and then you'd always have an accurate picture!

I only wanted then for squaring up my squares....other than a centered dot for accurately finding the center...all other markings would be moot for me!

Good deal. I have a friend who makes some for me and I use them all the time. I especially like them for squaring up blocks when making crazy quilts. Have fun.

Much cheaper than going to the quilt store and getting each one....for what maybe 10.00....15.00 dollars a piece....hmmmm....I am still happy! What a bargin!
