I just became more active on this list after joining here last year! (new computer, lost bookmarks, etc)
Anyway, the NEW year is upon us and I for one have great new QUILTY plans for it...how about you all?

    for me it is
#1- close up my online shop and start doing more for ME!
#2- learn to say NO to others and do more for ME!
#3- teach more and vendor at quilt shows more for ME!

see a pattern here! I have spent the last 8 years at this computer running the biz and I have lost so much of ME in that time!

I am going to be teaching classes on Paper products, die cutters, paper piecing, dying, painting, decoulorant and more this year!

SO off to the sewing room now!
I would love to know your plans for 2011!

please do not get me wrong...I am not a selfish person...but I am turning 50 in May and for the last few years it has either been the kids, the biz, charity work, etc that takes up my days....lately it is like wow...how did I get to be 50 already and I still don't have ------done???
I have 38 quilts started! As in they are all in various stages...but have been actually started!
In the past 3 years two people who were to get one of those quilts have passed away..with NO quilt to comfort them because I was too busy doing other things....
    This year, that changes!

Thank you...it was strange how that all came together...I started with the flower and found that little piece of batik....then I found a piece of Paula Nadelstern fabric that matched it...made the mat and went to walmart to find a mug to go with it...who would have thought I would find one that had flowers and the colors I needed???
    Strange in deed!
