Default Have you purchased the large fat quarter Fossil Fern fabric set (90 FQ) from Craftsy?

I've been buying rainbow colored fabric collections for the last year or so and am always seeking more colors and varieties.

I recently purchased, for the first time, a dozen fossil fern fat quarters and was really pleased with the colors and shading and wanted to buy more. I figured out the price for the Craftsy set worked out to $1.91 per FQ verses all the other $2.50, $2.69 and higher prices per individual FQ at other online stores so I went ahead and purchased the Craftsy set last Friday. I'm really excited to get it and was wondering if there is a color list on the box or an insert?

I have lots of rainbow themed quilts planned and with this will have more rainbow color fabrics than I could use in several years.

Thanks.

I haven't purchased the fossil fern fat quarters box from Craftsy; but I did make a Craftsy Mystery quilt that was made from fossil fern fat quarters. I purchased the fat quarters from Craftsy and was excited about the assortment of colors. I would think that you will be pleased with your purchase. I doubt that there will be a color list with the fabric; but you could get the colors from an internet site that sells fossil fern fabrics if you really need to know the names of the colors. When I was searching for a backing fabric for my quilt, I couldn't get over how many colors are in the fossil fern fabric line. Congratulations on your purchase.

I have been drooling over the 90 piece FQ set for ever!!! Everytime Craftsy has it on sale, I send the link to my other half but I haven't gotten it yet. . . I made a biscuit quilt out of Fossil Fern charm packs and those did have a number listing stuck in with the charms. My guess is that the number corresponded with how they were placed in the package but I'm not sure.

That sure seems like a great price! What a good way to get a good variety.

What a neat quilt and a cute dog!! I am hoping there is a color code list like Moda does on their charm packs. There are actually over 100 fossil fern colors so this huge set actually is short on at least 10 to 15 colors so I want to see if I can figure out what those are and if I want those colors or not. I mostly want to know what the color code/name is of the ones I really like so I can reorder. I especially like the really light blue one and the really light blue/green one. Those would make great background fabrics for a Storm at Sea I want to make eventually.

I'm not really in to brown or black so I don't have an immediate need for those but it will be handy to have them if and when the time arises.

I just ordered this set when it was on sale the other day and received it yesterday. I'll look for a color list when I get home...working the graveyard shift tonight. They are beautiful, I had a little (7 yr old) neighbor girl over yesterday and let her open the lid on the box. Her face just lit up!

The collection of fabric should be on the manufacturer's website. They all post photos of their fabric lines including free patterns to entice you to buy their fabric.

I have bought several fat quarter towers and quilt kits from Craftsy and have been very pleased with them.

For those that are pointing out that the manufacturers have the color numbers/names listed on their website with fabric swatches that I could use, you must have much better computer monitors than mine because I find actual colors on most fabrics to be way off what I see on my computer. I should be able to identify a certain number of the obvious ones but when there are 6 similar shaded blues, for instance, that is where it would be really difficult.

I just want to be able to reorder the colors I like and not end up with the wrong colors when my order arrives. None of the local quilt stores carry the fossil fern fabrics at all so I can't see them locally.

I'm hopeful the box comes with a fabric color code list and then the challenge will be not to mix up the order the fabrics as I look at them in complete delight!!!!
