I am doing a landscape quilt and need just one house block to put in the landscape, does any one have a pattern for a small house and a small tree. I saw the pattern for national quilting day and it has a house but wanted a simplier house, I am still learning and dont want too many pieces. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks that looks about right. My father lives in a log home on top of a mountain in PA and I am making him a wallhanging for fathers day. He wont accept presents unless they are hand made by the person giving. So hence the wallhanging and I wanted to make it sort of like where he lives with lots of pine trees of different sizes and i have some small bears ready to be appliqued on too. His whole living area are lots of wallhangings that I made. For christmas I hand embroidered log cabin scenes on towels for his bathroom, he was thrilled with them. So thanks.

Jane ~ Your wall hanging sounds wonderful. Please post a pic when you finish. Landscape quilts are on my to-do list. I bought the book "Accidental Landscapes" and it looks like great fun.

The house pattern was great thanks. I havent sat down to make it yet. I am finishing some other projects first. I am just accumulating stuff for the wall hanging right now. The winter snowbirds are going home soon so need to do group projects first. When they all go home and the club disbands for the summer I will work on my projectse. Thanks for asking.
