Wow, wish I hadn't found it. BTW I found it in a box of scraps. Anyway I washed my gorgeous reds and a few pieces of red & white. Now I have a tub of red and pink pieces. Not sure what happened but I'm really ticked now!

Which is why I highly recommend "Color Catchers". Try running it through the wash again with them...it may work.

And of course you know, it will be in the last place you look (becasue then you will have it in your hand). The excuse I use for myself now is, "I am having a senior moment".

If you rewash with the color catchers, will you let us know if it worked?

I am making a red quilt with WHITE contrast. I put some of it in water yesterday, and nothing faded. But I'm not so sure about the rest. I heard you need to use synthrapol. It floats away the excess color, so you need lots of water. It's a soap and sometimes found in the laundry section of Walmart or grocery stores. I had asked at Jo-ann's when I bought the red, and they had no idea what it was or what it was used for. I think you use color catchers with it also. Jo-ann's didn't know what color catchers were either. I found those on line.
