I am so with you on that, lol. Luckily, my four-legged kids haven't managed to do anything too drastic yet.

Darn, ripping is never fun, but I am glad you caught it right away.

I would take that kid right outside and kiss him, a great big, fat sloppy one right on the face in front of his friends! My kids KNEW this was going to happen to them, they HATE that, works everytime.

I used to tell my kids they were gonna get a lickin! chase them down and get them on the floor and lick their cheeks. They still remember their lickins!

That is aweful. My kids know that touching my machine is grounds for murder or atleast that is what I make them believe. Little man will sit in my chair but he won't dare touch anything.

You said he was old enough to know better. I would have been more then upset. For him to deliberately do that and think it would be funny, I would be very concerned that he has no respect for other's property and would risk someone getting hurt to pull a joke. What is the sewing machine would have been a woodworking tool that he set to be in reverse? He would be sitting there picking out every thread and picking it out right.

I'd be just as upset... however they'd have to change all my machines in order to mess me up. I always take things off the machine when I get up. I never leave something on the machine. One cat laying on top of the peddle, one time, is one time too many...

Children are not allowed anywhere near my sewing/craft room..it is too tempting. I will lock my doll room and the studio....better safe than sorry. I dont' trust kids...they dont' think like us lol....
