Default receiving blanket

I read some time ago a tutorial about making a baby blanket which when sewn had a border with mitired corners, do any of you recall this posting? If so could you please direct me to the instructions, we have a summer baby arriving soon and I think theses would be great

Thank you so much that is exactly what I was looking for, one more question could these be made with flannel and minky/fleece

I don't see why not! The Missouri Star Quilt Co video shows it being made with 2 pieces of flannel. I would think you use Minky for the back.

I have made 4 of the self binding blankets. My first one was with minky in the middle.

Here is my first attempt.

And here are 2 flannel.
