Default Dirty Emboridery floss

I got a few skeins of embroidery floss at a sale a few days ago. some of it is dirty. dose any body have any ideas for washing it? I have some white soaking in some OX clean but so few it is not helping. I'm think about putting a skein in the pocket of my jeans when I wash.

Not sure putting it in your jeans pocket is a good idea. Jeans can have a tendency to turn things blue even after many washings. .

I would let it soak overnite. I use "Linen Wash" by LeBlanc located in Seminole Fl. I had bought this at my LQS many years ago. I also saw it being sold in a chain linen store but then they went out of business. I had a client who actually iron her quilt without first removing the blue b gone. I soaked the quilt overnight and I was SHOCKED to see that all the blue b gone was gone. Customer was absolute delighted.

Is it really special floss? Fancy brand name? If not and it was mine I would just by more at Hobby Lobby, 40 cents a skein and not spend the time and energy on it, life's too short.
