Ok, I do not have a very big selection of quilting stores here. I was wondering if there was a good quilting on-line site for classes. I was kinda hoping for something similar to http://www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com.

Does anyone know of something like that.

Or even a good book on how to applique, design or make a binding.

I have not yet tried the classes at this link, but I read about it here a few weeks ago. http://www.quiltuniversity.com/catalog.htm

You can also find some helpful video tutorials on U-Tube.

Here is an interesting method of doing bindings. I do most of the steps in this video and my bindings come out great. http://sharonschambernetwork.com/fre...gel/index.html

Good luck! :)

I second Quilt University, they have a forum for each class to ask questions. I have not taken a class, but plan to soon.

Although these are not actually classes, I'd also like to recommend you go to Youtube.com and type in quilting in the search block. There are SOOOOOOOOO many different quilting tutorials it'll keep you busy :) :)

It has the experts teaching. I like Billie Lauder and Eleanor Burns.

i recently re-read an old sew news magazine and they rated quilt university the top for online lessons, both in quilting and in garment sewing.
