The clerk at HF gave me a "raincheck" which holds the price of the item til it comes back in stock and I pick it up.I was told that it would not be in stock again for a week and a half. I ordereded 10 pkgs.Hmmmm, wondering if I should order more? LOL!!

But on the other hand wait'll Harbor Freight finds out what JoAnn's and the rest of the fabric shops have been getting for their blades! Stock up people, the end is near!!!!!!!!

It would be fun and interesting to find out how many of us have purchased the blades in the last week and how many packs (of 2). I will start out:

It is called supply and demand - - prices will go up exponentially depending on how much the supply starts going down. On the other hand, when the LQS cannot sell its blades because the prices are too high - - they will have to put them on sale ... the market is a very interesting study.
I picked up (well, I ordered) 50 packs.

Those of you who have your blades on back order please let us know when they arrive. That way we all know when the factory has more.
I was able to get 7 packs in two different stores.
    Thanks

See if they will just ship it to the nearest HF to you. Some business will do that and it will cut the cost of shipping off. Or, go to your nearest HF and have them write you a raincheck for as many pkgs as you like.

There are three blades in one of their cutters. The cutters sell for $3.59. Those of you who have not been able to get any because they are out, you can still get some of those blades that way, a little over a $1, still much less than the price the LQS charges. Throw that cutter out, it doesn't work very well. Probably the new blades being ordered are not selling for the same price.

Same here, except I use the 65mm. Guess I could try the smaller one again when I run out of blades. I got a really good deal on Ebay for 10 blades, so I am okay for a while. I wish I could figure out how to sharpen them!!
