Terri, the block I did was from Marcia Hohn's site, Blocks Galore. It's a biggie. If you go to her site and look under the heading blocks over 16" or so, it's in that list, the Carpenter's Wheel.

I used 3.5" thangles. I'm actually making it again for a wall hanging because I played around so much with blocks and colors that I've got enough to make another one.

I'm also making matching pillows -- though not in the carpenter wheel pattern, the bambury cross pattern.

Well I am now starting over from square one  Don't worry this is only the 3rd time yet. Ok I am not finding this as easy as I thought it would be.

I have Dawn's scrappy center (to remind everyone) lol It's even worse now that I have the pic of Mareliba's to see. She did such a wonderful job.

btw Mareliba the oblong shape has given me fits too. I think I have it figured out now.

lol I am having fun though ...... :)

I've decided to watch ya'll. I've recently re-enlisted with this site after a long hiatus and look what ya'll are doing! Can't wait to see the finished product and I hope you decide to do it again as I would like to get in on one myself.

Oh, no worries Cordelia. I'm having fun making squares to use in ANOTHER quilt I will be making, I think.
I just cannot sew a straight line or cut one to save my life at the moment.
I think what I'm going to do is just cut the squares bigger, then cut them down to size. I layed in bed last night and that was all I could think about. Then the bed started rumbling...guess it was God's way of telling me to put all ideas to bed and get some sleep. (the rumbling was an earthquake,,,just a small one)

Wow!!!This is the most interesting and busy spot on the forum...I am so impressed with all of the ideas coming together ..I noticed that SewHappy had received Vicki's beautiful appliqued center and she was asking for ideas for the border..Been racking my poor brain for ideas but keep coming back to peach and green for the accent colors..

This is the best thread since I joined...
It is really great seeing the results and reading the thoughts that are going into choosing everything.
Good job everyone.

Ok, idea 999 and 1001 went out the window. Ok, they are sitting on my cutting table.
I'm now going with idea 2017. That is going to be it! Not turning back or going to do anything different. Just having a problem deciding. I think I have QADD (quilters attention deficiet disorder) lol

Dawn, Feel free to send mine to me as soon as you get thru with them. I sometimes need the extra time. I am looking forward to receiving this one. I do not have a clue yet as to what I am going to do but I sure have been thinking about it.

How did you get so many? Boy, you really need to keep organized to make sure that the right ones get to the right people!
