I was turned off by the fact that you get the cool, handquilted look on the front and like a chain stitch on the back. From what I remember in my research? Do a search here using the search feature as there are several threads about it. To me having a chain stitch on the back would make it much less attractive and I wouldn't want to use it on a quilt- only on the top. Which would really limit its use. And it's very expensive for a machine that does one stitch only. If someone gave me one or it was REALLY cheap, I'd consider it. I think they were running like $2400 when they came out.

I haven't got one, though I did get a very brief demo. I love the look it creates, but it is a little pricey. I can't remember the exact price, but it was a little over $2,000, I believe.
Some people are also using the machine for garment sewing and creating some pretty neat top-stitching effects.
