I keep a pencil and paper on my night stand so I can jot down ideas. Otherwise I'd never get any sleep worrying about whether I'd remember the idea in the morning. Glad there are others.

There is a pattern in one of the Twister books for a heart to do. I would think you could start with that and enlarge or whatever.

Yes, thank goodness we are not alone. In my dream I'm lost in the college dorm and the stairs lead up to another floor but only from one side of the dorm and I never start out on the right side. the heart quilt looks like it would be a nice challenge.

Use graft paper. You can buy it in larger blocks than what we used in HS geometry. You can draw on it with a pencil, then use colored pencils to fill in blocks. This is for those of us who do not have the Electric Quilt 6 software!
