I give my small scraps to moma she makes biscuits quilts.
the larger pieces are for several projects, like potholders, mirowave mits, place mats, doll and doggie quilts. You name and I can find a use for it, LOL

I just saw a page where someone had 8 inch blocks of batting set aside for rag quilts... I wondered if you could put batting in a rag quilt. I will probably do this.

Any particular reason? I take my time and quite happy with the finish look when I am done. Works well for a scrappy quilt I think.

I cut them down to 8" squares for rag quilts. Have a rather large stash of them ready for the next rag quilt.

I piece them together by butting the edges up against each other and zig-zagging them. Then I used them for wall-hangings that I know won't be laundered very often.

JoAnne's has queen sized Nature's Touch 100% cotton batting on sale today and tomorrow for half price :D So I came home with two of them. I do have some large pieces of other batting that I will use in the quilt I'm currently working on.

No particular reason other than I don't have time to do all that piecing.

I do the same! It can get out of hand pretty quick though!

I stack mine in a corner and glare at it every once in a while.
