I usually use either ebay of the FabShopHop search engine. Found three diff ones - don't know which pattern you are looking for.

And to answer your question YES there is a "fabric search engine"!

http://www.quiltshops.com/

I have found quite a bit of fabric this way!

If you know the pattern number of the fabric you're looking for, sometimes you can get right to it, if you type something like "moda symphony 1239-45" into the search box (particularly at http://www.google.com ). You might have to play around a little bit with the format of the pattern number, with the dash, without the dash, etc. Or even just type "moda symphony fabric" into the search box.

Savvy websites often make sure that the pattern number of a fabric can be found, by the search engines.
