Default Just......Thank you for being here!

Sitting musing while piecing this morning it occurred to me.......who else in the whole world would understand the agony of defeat or the bliss of victory...over a tiny scrap of fabric but other quilters! Thank you Quilting Board and members.

I frequently muse about what a great bunch of web surfers. Block names, interesting techniques, shipping codes, sales alerts, pictures that provide an armchair quilt show, shopping advise and problem solving. You are a unique bunch and I can't imagine my life without a daily quilt board fix. Thank you guys!

Again with the praise...I often find myself talking about advise and ideas my friends on the quilt board give..then I explain it's a online group of wonderful friends. I look in many times during the day and love every thing I see!

Ditto!! This goes for me also! I can't imagine not getting my fix - daily - or even a few times a day!

My husband and i worked together for years for a small 4 person business, now it's just the 2 of us working from home. I've always been very uncomfortable about being a "joiner".....but the QB has allowed me to feel like part of a great community. Just to see and get to share the amazing talent, skills, hard work, ideas, tricks, etc etc of so many ladies and gents.....Wow....i would sure miss it.

I recently posted a couple of non-quilting related questions to the board, and I was amazed at the number of responses! Quilters are definitely helpful people. Hubby thinks it's odd that I'm so comfortable reaching out to people I don't know, but so far, no one has steered me wrong. I definitely consider this board part of my social group.

The other day I was testing out a new machine and another customer in the store and I got to talking. I was telling her how Elmers glue basting is BETTER than sliced bread and seeing how her eyes just lit up with that "aha" moment was fabulous. As I was talking I realized that the majority of what I know came from my QB mates. Thank you for making me sound somewhat intelligent and able to pass on information to those that are not members yet...but who probably will be soon!

I will add my thank you to everyone on this board and the moderators. I have learned so much. I have also had the opportunity to see fabulous quilts and other projects that you have made, those have certainly been an inspiration.
