Default Seaside Quilter's lost quilt update . . . .

I'm on vacation, and Saturday my son sent me a text accompanied by a picture. "Guess what I have" and it was a picture of my lost quilt and the thank you card from my LAQ. A neighbor two doors away from mine who has been on vacation for a month came home on Saturday and found a ripped open box on her porch. She saw my name on the label at the same time the neighbor in between us came outside. She asked the second neighbor (who knew I was looking for my quilt) about it and they both walked it over to my house and gave it to my son (who happened to be there feeding my kitty). He went bonkers and sent me the text. I'm anxious to get home and see what condition it's in and then scurry to put the binding on for my daughter's baby shower this Saturday. I would like to thank all the Board members who were so concerned about my quilt to send me PMs to ask about it. I really appreciate your interest.

I didn't know it was missing, but it feels really good that it was found. Hope it is the way it should be.

OMG that's a quilt tale for all time! How nice to be reunited and hooray for good neighbors who have your best interest in mind.
