Does anyone on this forum sell their quilts? If so, how do you price them?

Most dont want to give what things are worth let alone your time. I've had a lady want to commission me for 2 queens at $400 a piece. it takes a month or more to make. Is it worth it? Hard to say, I've got $250+ in them. I you do price them you general charge costx3.

the prices here are not reliable guides for setting prices to sell on the open market.

we operate on a thrift shop principal so prices are required to be waaaaaaay lower than at a selling site or marketplace.

I have sold quilts before in craft shows. It is really tough times now so it is very difficult to find someone who willing to pay what the item is worth to you. You might get the price of the fabric but NEVER what time you put into quilting.... GOOD LUCK.
